Grandall Shanghai Advised the M&A Project of Bright Dairy
Bright Dairy & Food Co., Ltd is one of China's largest dairy companies, and Synlait Milk Limited was Bright Dairy’s first overseas M&A project. Through acquisition of Synlait, Bright Dairy became the first Chinese dairy companies that successfully launched oversea production. Charles Guan, the managing partner of Grandall Shanghai, led Grandall’s professional team to closely cooperate with international law firms and successfully accomplish the said M&A project. Recently, Synlait listed on New Zealand and raised NZD 75 million (around RMB 387 million) in total through public offering at a price of NZD 2.2 per share, and Bright Dairy remained as the largest shareholder of Synlait after the said public offering.
